Scolari the saviour? I don’t think so!

Early in the season, i must admit that i am pretty impressed with Chelsea’s form. They really look like a formidable team and it will take one hell of an effort to beat them. But for the past few recent games, they don’t really look that strong anymore. And then i started to look at their coach, Luiz Felipe Scolari. Well, he’s a good coach and look at his achievement as a coach for Portugal and also Brazil. Hmm, but then if we look at his rather early achievement at Chelsea, it will look like this. Two home defeats already this season at their once formidable fortress Stamford Bridge, only one win from the last five home games and bundled out of Carling Cup by Burnley- what !? So looking at the current situation now, heck i’m starting to think that Avam Grant did one hell of a great job previously, and so did Mourinho. Chelsea’s proud home unbeaten record is gone in the hands of Scolari. Maybe i’m too early to criticize him cause Chelsea is not out of the Premier League race, and they are in fact very much in the title hunt for the Champions League as well, and also not forgetting the FA Cup. But then again, my point is, i don’t think Scolari is any better than Mourinho and Grant and he still has a lot to prove when it comes to club football.
