Free water in Selangor from June, oops not free petrol la… hehe…

Finally, after a few days of cooking eggs on top of my head, the fire has been put out for a while, at least for now. According to report from Malaysia Today’s website, “Some one million households in Selangor will still get their 20 cubic metres of free water effective June 1, Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim said today”. Although the actual savings would run up to RM11.40 a month, it’s still something to cheer about. This is what we want to see or hear from our wakil rakyat. Kudos to Pakatan Rakyat for taking the lead to help ease burden of its people. Imagine a state can announce RM11.40 subsidy for every single household while the federal gov who conquers the whole Malaysia impose additional RM0.78 on petrol cost.
