The Star: RM290m a year for upkeep of subs

I am not sure about most of the Malaysians out there but i personally is starting to notice that our current Malaysian government is slowly sucking our hard earn money away from us. Before you go about shouting and screaming at me, allow me to elaborate some of the government actions recently:

1. Changing of RON97 to RON95 – do i need to explain more? Changing a superior product to inferior product while maintaining the same price, do you dare to claim that RON95 is better than RON97? But then i think this is a master stroke from our G as currently i’m using RON95 without any problems…damn!

2. RM50 credit card fee – so where do you think the new RM50 credit card fees goes to? Our G of course ! Kononnya wanna help rakyat to control spending, but do you actually think those who are seriously in debt will actually reduce their credit cards based on RM50 fees? Hell no, i bet they will still go grab 10 cards out there and pay the RM500 fees and then max out the cards.

3. No sugar subsidy – Oooo… suddenly our G becomes very concern about our health, wanna cut off the sugar subsidy to reduce sugar intake. Hmm, actually i don’t have problem with this policy, it’s good that everyone can reduce their sugar intake, afterall, it’s not good for health, but then, my main point here is reduce subsidy, so where the savings of subsidy goes to?

4. GST of 4% – Whoaa hahahahaha, so now everything we buy will be charged 4% tax? Since when our people become so rich eh? And what is the basis of charging 4% tax to the people? What service are we actually paying for? Hmmm, i will agree with this implementation if we don’t have to pay our income tax, so whatever stuff that we buy just charge the 4% tax, but *tooot*, we’re paying our income tax and yet now we have to pay some service tax? Malaysia is fast becoming a tax heaven!

So you see, i can’t help but wonder what’s coming next, how much more do the G wanna suck the money from us?

Fulamak, another Hand of God incident. What a blatant handball and how could have the referee missed it? And shame on you Henry, you should have admitted it yourself and have the goal disallowed. Since when football becomes handfootball? Being a world class player, you should have been a role model but now you use your hand to assist in scoring a goal and you celebrated that goal without any remorse?

After so many days, it still baffles me on how a woman could have forced 4 of her beautiful children to drink weedkiller and then poisoned herself. I will never ever know what was going through her mind when she did that and that simply defies the theory of a mother being protective of her children. In this case, she’s killing all of ‘em. I don’t really care much about the mother, but the thought of seeing 4 defenseless little children being given a poisoned drink and they themselves not old enough to know about it, that is simply a thought too painful to bear.

Based on the latest report, it seems that the children have recovered and discharged from hospital but them there are still blood being detected in their urine. I sincerely wish and pray that with God’s blessing, the children will survive and continue to fight for their future, now even more tough without the care of their mother. But then again, i’m quite pissed by the brainless action of that mother and although i did mention that i don’t give a damn if she dies or lives, i do wish that the children could have grown up in a nice family with both of their parents around…

The Star report: Paraquat case woman dies…

Well, i read today from The Sun that Tottenham is planning for a 6mil swoop for Ben Foster this January. And Foster responded that he might need to leave to keep his place  in the England squad. He further commented that he felt weird being a country’s top keeper and yet being only the 3rd choice keeper for his own club.

Hmmm, to Foster, you had your chances! And what a bummer and mess you have made of your chances. When Edwin VDS was injured, you were assured of starting  in games and yet you allowed your butter fingers to do the talking and so who else you can blame except yourself for falling down the pecking order at OT? I find it weird as well that after a series of blunders you have made, Fabio Capello still prefer to start you rather than other keepers available out there.

Anyway, it doesn’t really bother me if you choose to leave or choose to stay, but one thing that i want to make it clear as a United fan is that no one is to be blame other than yourself for not making the full use of the chance you get earlier. I personally witness your blunders at United games and i would have drop you from the bench myself had Ferguson not done so. Go to Tottenham by all means if that will help you but I hope that you don’t turn into a crying baby and whining that you were never given the opportunities… yes, not opportunity, but opportunities!

I’m quite a frequent user of highway so recently i purchased a Smart Tag as i can see that nowadays the queue for the normal Touch N Go lane is getting longer and longer. That Smart Tag alone cost me RM130 but it comes with a preloaded RM10 Touch N Go card.

Well, my initial impression was, Smart Tag rocks bay beh! It is really convenient when you don’t have to roll down your car mirror and you can simply drive thru the Smart Tag lane without any hassle. Usually you don’t get stuck in queue in Smart Tag lane. All in all, it’s money well spent indeed!

But here comes the problem. About 2 months after my purchase, the unit just broke down. And one of my colleague told me that he had similar problem as well. And upon further check, i just realized that the Smart Tag was not even approved by Sirim. Ah hah, now that tells you something about the quality or reliability of that product huh! So off I go to the service centre. Was told that it will takes about 5 weeks for repair and i need to pay RM7 in postal order as part of the shipping cost for them to ship the item back to us. Hehe, your product screw up but then we customer have to bear the shipping cost? Not bad.

It has been about 4 weeks now since i sent my defective unit for repair. Called them yesterday and was told it’s still under repair. It’s just a small and simple unit, so i was wondering what took them so long…

Ahhh… i guess this is another daylight robbery case happening in Malaysia?

Haha, that question above damn funny. Who in their right mind would pay RM42,320 for a laptop. I guess  if they keep on asking this question, we can go on for years and years. And many people in Malaysia will be declared as not so in the right frame of mind. Bwah hahahaha… This laptop must be some super computer as the cost is equivalent to a full spec Viva or a Proton Savvy. Wow, imagine that! But then, year after year, we read some AG’s report yada yada, then then after that, i guess someone took a broom and sweep all the reports under the carpet and case close.

*yawn* Imagine that this is not the first time we’re hearing about this issue on misuse of funds, terang terang di bawah bulan dan matahari, it’s like a clear broad day light robbery and yet nothing much has been done to address this issue. So what to do? Aiyah, AG report or no AG report, sama also only. I’d rather not read the AG report because after reading about it, i’ll get so pissed off and yet i can’t really do much about it cause those people who thinks they are ‘ayam telor’ continues to sleep and do nothing about it.

And so, why not we all just start compiling the datas every year and include them in Malaysia Book of Records. That will be nice isn’t it? The world’s most expensive screwdriver set, the world’s most expensive laptop and so on…

I don’t get it, why this song was not included in the Invincible album? Was it recorded after the Invincible album? Definitely a  lot better than any of the tracks inside the disastrous Invincible album…

Lets kick some zombies ass!

Ok, if you’re an iPhone user and you have not heard of this game, it’s ok. Just go to iTunes store now and download the game for only $0.99 and i bet that you will thank me for this. This is seriously one of the best games released for iPhone to date. Remember that i recommended iDracula sometime ago? Well, this game has the same concept of iDracula in the sense that you walk around shooting zombies but the similarities ends there.

What is so good about this game compare to iDracula is that you actually need to complete missions and earn experience level as well as money and upgrade your character from there. It’s something sort of like RPG. There’s different type of mission to complete like rescuing survivors, retrieve vaccines and so on. That keeps the game interesting compared to iDracula where you just shoot to stay alive. I’ve just completed 8 missions and i think there’s 30 missions in total. And also, you can always go back to older mission to try and complete the challenge and earn more money so you can upgrade your weapons. You see, in every mission, you have a side challenge where you’ll earn some bonus if you manage to complete the challenge. So sometimes even if you manage to complete a mission, you might not complete the challenge given so you can always go back and play the same mission.

Action wise, there’s plenty of shooting and head shots around, plenty of gore and plenty of zombies to keep your adrenalin rushing. So i guess it’s a pretty entertaining and intense shooter game. One of the nicer games around and this game earns 4.5 stars out of 5 from freeweelee. Why 4.5 and not 5? Well, the multiplayer mode doesn’t work even though it’s stated that it works on iPhone 2G. Hmm, still can’t figure out how to get the multiplayer mode going, and i can’t imagine how kick ass it’s gonna be should the multiplayer mode works.
