Hello Bee and Prime, care to visit Malaysia?
Ok. I can now confirmed that those rotten tomatoes rating of around 21% is indeed true. Well, the movie is not bad at all but it just lack something to make it an enjoyable movie. Everything seems a bit messed up and again, for non-transformers fans, i think they can only recognize Prime and Bee and that’s it. The rest of the robots, i bet they don’t know shit about it. Arcee? Sideswipe or sidesweep? You see, i don’t even get a proper introduction to the characters at all. They just appear out of no where and then just join in the battles. Somehow, i really feel Transformers first movie is way much better than this one. Sure, you get lots and lots of awesome battle scenes but that’s it. I hate it when they just show bits and pieces of most of the robots. What about Constructicons?
*warning, spoiler potentially ahead*
What about Constructicons? Suddenly they just appear towards the end of the movie…sucking sands here and there and boom! they’re gone. And the Fallen is suppose to be one of the prime as well, and i think he only appear and died too fast towards the end as well. And what about Sam’s roommate? What’s the point of them putting that guy in the movie? He’s a computer freak, search for aliens, meet them and then can’t remember what happen to him, so what’s the point of having this character?
Overall, it’s still worth paying RM9 for this movie because of the special effects and some of the awesome fight scenes. But again, i will definitely have to agree that Transformers 2 is way below expectation this time. I hope they will make transformers 3 a good one.
